I think it's a good move by FIFA to have one in Russia and one in the Middle East but I would have put 2022 in England. It is a departure from the recent alternating of "soccer countries" and "non-soccer countries" (Italy, U.S., France, Japan/South Korea, Germany, South Africa, Brazil). I think I would have stuck with the pattern (i.e. England, Russia, soccer nation, Qatar).
